A new and exciting course for this year which is suitable for both beginners and those with experience, this one-day workshop will give you the skills and confidence to continue printmaking at home using minimal equipment.
We will provide a relaxed and nurturing atmosphere, and you will get the opportunity to work at your own pace. Our tutor will be on hand to guide you whatever your level of experience – even people who say they cannot draw create beautiful prints.
We will provide a selection of pre-prepared images and ideas to work from, although if you’d like to bring a moody image your own please do.
TetraPak printing is a form of ‘drypoint’ printing, where a handled needle is traditionally used to scratch into a metal plate. Instead of using a metal plate, this method uses repurposed drink cartons instead.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have printed one or more moody landscapes – unique artworks to take home to be cherished forever.
