Dawn is a multimedia artist based in St Bees, Cumbria. She takes inspiration from the natural surroundings around her as well as from her extensive travel. This is reflected in the layering and overlapping of a combination of figurative imagery with painterly expression. She is the curator and owner of her own studio/gallery Art on The Edge.

An artist who has creativity in abundance, and continues to develop original works of art, that range from being traditionally figurative to that which can be seen to be more experimental, complex and multi layered. Known for her eclectic style, she chooses to work in a wide range of mediums.​

The process of Dawn’s print work blends several techniques. She uses a mono-print approach to creating complex and unique one of a kind works on paper. Through multi layering different printmaking techniques, she achieves rich layers of colour, pattern and imagery. This process allows her the freedom to experiment while reflecting her eclectic interests.
