Emily is a craftsperson and co-founder of Market Place Print Studio. Emily connects to landscapes around her through natural dyeing and block printing. When she goes for walks she looks around thinking about all the colours hidden within barks, roots and leaves.

Natural dyeing and carving blocks is a slow, reflective process. It encourages her to be patient and move in rhythm with nature. Through this gentle process she learns about the stories and imagery of folk and traditional crafts connected to fabric, dyeing and women creating with the land.

Emily teaches block printing and natural dyeing at Market Place Print Studio and holds a monthly art circle called "open art".
