Rachel’s work in print reflects her understanding of the natural world and its inherent strength, complexity and transience.

Whilst focussing on stone lithography over many years, she has recently been combining various print media together to create new and interesting juxtapositions of image and idea. In printmaking there is often a 'surprise' at the end of the process when the print is pulled off the press and Rachel relishes these exciting moments.

After leaving teaching in further and higher education, Rachel now concentrates on drawing, painting, printmaking and artists books. Her work is held in private, national and international collections.
