Sue Leech
Sue's love of printmaking began in the 1980's whilst studying for her degree in Graphic Arts at Camberwell College of Arts. Throughout her career as a secondary school Art teacher, she has shared her passion for printmaking with her students as well as continuing to develop her own printmaking practice.
Now recently retired from teaching Sue dedicates her time to exploring printmaking techniques and developing her work. Living in Grange over Sands she is inspired by the gardens and buildings of South Lakeland and often uses her own garden as a source of imagery for her work.
Sue works in linocut, collagraph and monotype as she seeks to explore the relationship between colour, texture and pattern and is always on the lookout for unusual and interesting textures to incorporate into her prints.
Sue is available for teaching, tuition or workshops. Please use the contact form to get in touch.
