We are pleased to present an exciting exhibition showcasing examples of contemporary and traditional printmaking. Held at the Kirkgate Centre in Cockermouth, this three-day event invites visitors to view and purchase a range of original prints that highlight diverse techniques and styles.

By displaying examples of printing blocks, plates, tools and works in progress we hope to illustrate the complexity of the employed processes. Anyone wanting a hands-on experience will have the opportunity to make their own print, giving the visitors an in-depth insight into the exciting world of print. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, collector or curious about the process, Out of Ink provides a unique opportunity to engage with original artworks rooted in Cumbria’s creative scene.

There will also be a selection of unframed prints and cards available, making it the perfect chance to find something special to take home. Admission is free. Join us for the exclusive preview evening on October 16th from 6pm to 8pm, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the artists, enjoy light refreshments and be among the first to browse through the collection.
