Print at the Priory is a week long exhibition showcasing contemporary printmakers. These artists use a wide variety of print media including etching, aquatint, linocut, digital media, woodcut, drypoint, lithography, collograph and mono printing. All prints in the exhibition will be for sale, with both framed and mounted prints as well as cards. Several of our artists are members of Cumbria Printmakers. This group exists to promote printmaking and printmakers in the region. Cumbria Printmakers will giving an opportunity to burgeoning printmakers by taking up a stand to display examples of their work. Print at the Priory is taking place in the historic Dacre Hall at Lanercost Priory, near Brampton in North East Cumbria. We are open 10am - 4pm daily from 24th September until the 2nd October 2022. Admission is £1. There is plenty of free parking on site, and we are next door to the award-winning Lanercost Tearoom, if you fancy combining art appreciation with coffee and cake. We also adjoin the English Heritage-owned Priory and are situated just off Hadrian’s Wall, so are perfectly placed if you are looking to plan a highly cultural day out. Visit the ‘Exhibiting Printmakers’ page to view the work of all the Printmakers who are taking part, and links to their websites. We very much look forward to welcoming you to Print at the Priory this autumn!
